Making your mom a delicious, nutrition-packed breakfast to support her health and wellness on Mother's Day is one of the best ways to show her you care.

French toast, eggs, and bacon are classics for Mother's Day brunch- but why not create a new Mother's Day tradition for someone you love by making a breakfast with energizing superfoods, such as chlorella?

Chlorella is an ideal ingredient to include in any recipe (especially raw food recipes for optimal absorption) because of its powerful health benefits. This single-celled green algae is often referred to as an amazing green superfood because it naturally promotes energy production, natural body detoxification and cellular repair and regeneration- all thanks to a unique nutrient called Chlorella Growth Factor, or CGF.

If you often hear your special someone saying she wishes she had more energy, or is tempted to buy another skin cream for healthy skin, she may just fall in love with the health benefits of chlorella. Aside from the beauty benefits of CGF, chlorella also contains several vitamins, minerals, fiber, healthy fats and plant protein, which makes it a sound ingredient for maximum nutrition and natural wellness.

If you're in search of delicious ways to delight your mom (or any important person in your life) with chlorella this year, we've got you covered with 5 healthy Mother's Day recipes. Not only are these recipes sure to please her tastebuds, but her cells will appreciate the health benefits, too!

Raspberry Mint Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seed pudding is one of the quickest and easiest superfood breakfasts to make. So if your time is limited to prepare something healthy for your special someone this year, this Raspberry Mint Chia Seed Pudding recipe may be perfect for you. Just be sure to prepare it at least 8 hours before serving. While the recipe only takes a few seconds to put together, the chia seeds do need time to soak and form a jelly-like "pudding” texture.

Chia pudding stays fresh in a glass, airtight container for up to 3 days, so this healthy breakfast recipe can be made in advance if necessary.

Servings: 1

Ingredients
- ¼ cup whole black or white chia seeds
- approximately 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk (enough to completely cover chia seeds)
- ¾ cup fresh raspberries, whole or blendedfew sprigs mint, chopped
- ½ tsp Sun Chlorella granules
- 1 tsp coconut sugar or coconut nectar
- shredded coconut to top (optional)

Method
1. Place chia seeds in glass container or mason jar.
2. Cover chia seeds with milk of choice.
3. Mix in chlorella, chopped mint and sweetener of choice.
4. Allow to sit in the fridge for 6-8 hours, or until chia seeds are thick and jelly-like in texture. If topping with blended raspberries, blend ¾ cup raspberries in blender until a jam starts to form. Add a few splashes of water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
5. Stir mixture and top with raspberries and coconut and extra mint if desired.

Enjoy!
