We all like to cool down in the summer with something else besides cold water, like a popsicle or ice-cream. Ahhh, it just cools your core, doesn’t it?
But what about man’s best friend? Our dogs would like an ice cold treat in the summer time too! Although it’s tempting to offer our adorable pets a lick of our own cooling snacks (especially when they give us those begging eyes), we know that these are full of sugar or sweeteners that can be toxic to dogs.
I know, I know… there aren’t many refreshing treats for our pooches out there and most commercial dog food/treats contain meat by-products, fillers, and other junk we don’t want our dogs eating.
Well we, or should I say YOU, have Sparky covered this summer with not 1, but 2 homemade healthy frozen treats!
With only five steps and less than 10 minutes to prep, you’ll be making these heathy treats for your pooch all summer long!
