Raw and Creamy Avocado Garlic Sauce

The last thing you feel like doing in the summer is turning on the stove and working in the kitchen. Instead of going the take-out route, try this quick and easy avocado garlic sauce recipe for creamy pasta or zucchini noodles!  We have a feeling you'll love it.

Not only is this avocado garlic sauce recipe a time saver, but it also helps supply your body with vitamins and minerals for health and wellness in the summer. Our bodies thrive off raw fruits and vegetables in the summer months because of the electrolytes they provide (which we lose through our sweat) and of course, their water content to keep us hydrated. In the summer when we have so many fun activities going on, it's just as important to eat nourishing foods rather than relying only on nutritional supplements. Aside from essential natural vitamins and electrolytes, this raw garlic avocado pasta sauce provides spectacular health benefits for your skin, your heart and your digestive system.

Avocado is full of monounsaturated fatty acids that can help give your skin a healthy-looking glow. Avocados contain healthy fats for heart health and contains fiber that can support the digestive system with regular elimination which is absolutely essential for a healthy body.


Garlic contains a compound called allicin, which may have health benefits. .

Allicin is produced from garlic as soon as it is peeled and chopped. The longer garlic sits once it's been chopped, the more allicin it will produce. To get the most allicin out of this recipe, chop your garlic before preparing the other ingredients and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

The antioxidants in cilantro may help support heart health, digestion, and healthy-looking skin. Cilantro and chlorella's benefits can be maximized when taken together!

 Raw and Creamy Garlic Avocado Pasta Sauce

- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cilantro (if you don't like cilantro, you can use parsley instead)
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- Pinch of himalayan sea salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/2 - 1 tsp Sun Chlorella Powder
- A few splashes of filtered water to reach desired consistency

Noodle Recommendations:
To keep this recipe completely raw and add even more nutrients to your dish, try zucchini noodles. You can make zucchini noodles in seconds simply by using a julienne slicer or a spiralizer. You may also use whole grain pasta noodles made from quinoa, brown rice, spelt, kamut or organic whole wheat.

1. Chop garlic, spinach and cilantro. (Chop garlic and let sit for 15 minutes prior if you'd like to increase the health benefits!)

2. Place avocado, garlic, spinach, cilantro, lime juice, sea salt, pepper, and Sun Chlorella Powder in your blender and blend until smooth. Add water in small amounts to reach your desired consistency. For a thinner sauce, add more water. For a thicker sauce, add less.

3. You're done! If you prefer to have this sauce cold (which can be more refreshing in the summer) chill and let sit in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.
