Chlorella is a single-celled green alga that's often called "the amazing green superfood" based on the countless ways it has the ability to improve the health of your entire body.

When taken on a regular basis, chlorella is said to support healthier vision, natural weight loss, cognitive function, and younger-looking skin.

As an anti-inflammatory food, chlorella may also be helpful as natural joint support and for clearing up inflammatory skin conditions such as acne. In addition to these benefits, studies suggest chlorella is a powerful natural energizer, an effective immune system booster, and may be useful for removing heavy metals from the body.

1. Chlorella May Help Speed Up Wound Healing 

You may have noticed that as you get older, it takes longer for your skin to heal from a cut, scrape, burn, bruise - or even from popping a zit. You see, RNA and DNA are two nucleic acids your body produces that act as "blueprints" for your cells and tells them which functions to carry out, including skin cell repair and regeneration.
